FAQ
Heavy-Haul Questions
What counts as oversized or overweight freight?
Anything that exceeds legal trailer limits — generally over 8.5 ft wide, 13.5 ft tall, 53 ft long, or 80,000 lbs gross. We handle the permits when you go over.
Do you arrange permits and escorts?
Yes. We pull oversize/overweight permits for every state on the route and arrange pilot cars or police escorts where required.
What type of trailer will my load need?
It depends on dimensions and weight — flatbed, step-deck, double-drop, RGN/lowboy, or multi-axle. We match the trailer to the load.
Can you handle loading and unloading?
We coordinate crane and rigging support at both ends, plus professional blocking, bracing, and tarping.
Is my heavy equipment insured in transit?
Yes — high-value cargo insurance is available on every heavy-haul shipment.
