FAQ
Common LTL Questions
What is LTL (less-than-truckload) shipping?
LTL means your freight shares trailer space with other shipments, so you only pay for the space you use — the most cost-effective option for pallets and partial loads.
How is my LTL freight cost calculated?
Rates depend on weight, dimensions, freight class (NMFC), pickup and delivery ZIP codes, and accessorials like liftgate or residential delivery. We pull negotiated rates from multiple carriers and quote you the best one.
What’s the difference between LTL and full truckload?
LTL is for smaller shipments that don’t fill a trailer. Full truckload (FTL) is a dedicated truck for large or time-sensitive freight that goes straight from pickup to delivery.
Can you deliver somewhere without a loading dock?
Yes. We arrange liftgate service, residential delivery, and inside delivery when there’s no dock or forklift on site.
How do I track my shipment or file a claim?
You’ll get tracking on every shipment and a real person to call. If anything is delayed or damaged, we handle the carrier claim for you.
